FinTelegram (Cyber Intelligence Services LLC, Delaware) publishes evidence-based reporting on cyberfinance, payment rails, and financial crime. When we make mistakes, we want to know—and we correct them.
This page explains how to report errors, request corrections, submit a right of reply, and—where necessary—trigger our Fact-Checking Procedure.
1) What this page is for
Use the form below if you want to:
-
report a factual error in an article;
-
request a clarification or update where information is incomplete or outdated;
-
request a right of reply to material that concerns you or your organisation;
-
flag potentially defamatory statements, privacy issues, or other serious editorial concerns.
We take submissions seriously and log them in our internal case and corrections register.
2) What this page is not for
Please do not use this form for:
-
customer complaints against brokers, casinos, or platforms (e.g., “I want my money back”);
-
marketing pitches, PR requests, guest-post offers, or advertising proposals;
-
attempts to negotiate content removal in exchange for money, crypto, services, or other benefits;
-
general tips or whistleblowing submissions (use our dedicated channels for that).
FinTelegram does not sell takedowns, reputation repair, or pre-approval of coverage. Offers or requests of that nature will be ignored and may be documented as misuse.
3) How we handle complaints & corrections
When you submit a complaint or correction request, we generally follow this workflow:
A) Initial review
-
We check whether your message clearly identifies the article and the issue.
-
Submissions that are vague, abusive, or clearly non-editorial may not receive a response.
B) Evidence-based assessment
-
We compare your claim against our sources and any documents you provide (e.g., court filings, regulator statements, corporate records, verified correspondence).
-
In complex cases, we may consult additional independent sources and, where appropriate, legal counsel.
C) Outcome (one or more of the following)
-
Correction of factual errors (often with an editorial note);
-
Clarification or update where context has changed or information was incomplete;
-
Right of reply (a clearly labelled statement from you or your organisation);
-
No change if we conclude the complaint is unfounded or reflects a difference of opinion rather than a factual error.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time, but multi-jurisdictional issues or legal review may extend timelines.
4) Fact-Checking Procedure (Under Review → Reviewed)
Some complaints raise detailed factual disputes and potential legal implications. In those cases, we may open a structured Fact-Checking Procedure.
When this applies
We may use the Fact-Checking Procedure when:
-
multiple statements are challenged;
-
the dispute depends on documents not publicly available;
-
identity/authority needs verification (e.g., corporate representative or counsel);
-
there is a legal risk assessment component.
“Under Review” label
If a Fact-Checking Procedure is opened, the relevant article may be temporarily labelled “Under Review.”
This label does not mean the article is wrong or retracted. It means verification is in progress.
Your obligation: time-boxed substantiation
Fact-checking is evidence-driven. If you challenge factual claims, you must provide substantiation:
-
Initial evidence package: within 10 business days after the procedure starts, you must submit:
-
the exact challenged passages (copy/paste);
-
why each is allegedly inaccurate/misleading;
-
your requested correction/clarification (preferred wording);
-
supporting evidence.
-
-
Follow-up requests: if we ask for additional information reasonably needed to verify your complaint, you must respond within 10 business days.
Automatic completion: “Under Review → Reviewed”
If you do not provide the required information within the deadlines, the procedure automatically ends and the article status changes from “Under Review” to “Reviewed.”
“Reviewed” means the procedure is closed—with or without changes—based on the information available.
Possible outcomes
At the end of the procedure, we may:
-
make no change;
-
publish a correction, clarification, or update;
-
add an editorial note and keep the status as “Reviewed.”
Where appropriate, we may ask you to enter into a short Fact Checking Agreement (FCA) to document the process, confidentiality, and timelines.
5) What to include in your submission
To help us act quickly and fairly, please provide:
-
your full name and role (private individual / company representative / legal counsel);
-
contact details (email; optionally phone/Telegram for follow-up);
-
article URL(s) and headline;
-
the exact passage(s) you challenge (quote or copy/paste);
-
why you believe it is incorrect, misleading, or unfair;
-
supporting evidence, such as:
-
corporate/registry documents,
-
court decisions or filings,
-
regulator or law-enforcement statements,
-
contracts, emails, or other verifiable records.
-
Right of reply (additional requirements)
If requesting a right of reply, please also:
-
specify whether you want a short statement included in the article or a separate reply piece;
-
provide the full text you want us to consider in publication-ready form.
6) Independence and limits
FinTelegram is an independent cyberfinance intelligence platform. We welcome evidence-based challenges, but:
-
We will not accept money, crypto, services, or other benefits in exchange for content removal or softer wording.
-
We will not grant prior editorial approval over investigative content to any subject, advertiser, or partner.
-
We reserve the right to decline requests that are abusive, frivolous, or incompatible with our mission.
Where we correct or update content, we do so for accuracy and fairness—not as a commercial service.
7) Privacy & legal notice
-
Information you submit will be used solely for reviewing and handling your complaint, correction request, or right of reply.
-
Your submission may be shared internally with our editorial team and, where necessary, with external legal advisers or technical experts involved in the review.
-
In serious allegations (including defamation claims), we may need to verify identity/authority and retain records for legal defense and compliance purposes.
By using this form, you confirm that:
-
the information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge;
-
you are authorised to submit the complaint on behalf of any organisation you name;
-
you understand that FinTelegram decides independently whether and how to amend its publications.
