Alleged binary options scammer Joshua Cartu sends greetings from Moscow

At the last Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) hearing in the fraud charges against David Cartu, Jonathan Cartu, and Joshua Cartu on March 25, 2021, Joshua Cartu did not appear. Nor has he sent a representative, although properly served. Not only the Canadian OSC but also the U.S. CFTC is looking for the Cartu Brothers. The U.S. regulator has brought a fraud complaint against the Cartu Brothers for operating illegal binary options platforms that received more than $165 million from investors. While the CFTC and OSC are looking for him, Joshua Cartu posts greetings from Moscow on Instagram.

The Cartu Brothers - David, Jonathan, and Joshua - are very sought after people. They are currently being sued by the U.S. CFTC and Canada's OSC for alleged binary options fraud. The CFTC claims that at least $165M has been stolen from retail investors. The CFTC did not even include all of the Cartu Brothers‘ brands in the complaint. Therefore, it is likely that a multiple of this amount was processed through their GreyMountain Management scheme and other entities. Binary options fraud – Notorious Cartu Brothers charged by U.S. CFTC

It is a court season for the fraudulent binary options industry and its perpatrators. Among the worst scammers were David Cartu and his brothers. After the Canadian regulator OSC had already sued them for binary options fraud, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) filed a civil enforcement action. The regulator charges six individuals and four companies with operating a fraudulent binary options trading scheme that received over $165 million via their Irish GreyMountain Management Ltd.
