The Israeli Meir Barak is a professional day trader and the author of The Market Whisperer. In 2002, he founded Tradenet, an online day trading academy. The firm was founded in Israel but is currently operated by the Cyprus-registered F.S. Tradenet CY Ltd, whose director is Itai-Zwi Loewenstein. He is also a director in the CySEC-regulated broker ColmpexPro. In 2020, the U.S. SEC charged Tradenet with violations of securities laws.

This morning, we received an unexpected email from Rafael Ciosmak of CySEC-regulated broker ColmexPro welcoming us as a new client. Strangely only that we had not registered at all. We were asked to upload our ID and residency confirmation and make deposits. We did not upload any documents and did not pass a KYC check and still could have deposited €150,000 via credit card through BridgerPay. This is indeed an extraordinary approach by this CySEC broker.
