Some clones of regulated financial service providers are currently active and chase naive victims. These clones are imposters and use the logos, brands, and credentials of the regulated companies and work with similar domains. Our whistleblowers recently noticed this with ATFX and CharlGate and informed us. This valued information enabled us to issue an investor warning against the CharlGate clone. Most recently, the FMA followed suit and warned against CharlGate. Be cautious and stay far away!
We recently reported a warning issued by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) against ATFX Global, a clone of the ATFX Group. Their companies are regulated in Europe by the UK FCA and the Cypriot CySEC. The operators of the fraudulent ATFX clone are apparently also running a clone of the CySEC-regulated CharlGate Ltd d/b/a FXVIEW (www.fxview.com). This fraudulent clone is working with the domain www.charlgate.net/eu. And it primarily attacks German-speaking consumers.
FinTelegram issued an investor alert against the ATFX Global broker scam a few days ago. We pointed out that this broker scam connected with Citadel Securities and Pente Management d/b/a PenteTrade24. The German BaFin announced today that it is investigating Citadel LLC and PenteTrade24 because they are publicly offering shares in Cannabis Health AG without the required capital market prospectus. It seems that the Citadel Securities scam is much more extensive than initially thought.
