German BaFin issued a warning against the broker scam SimpleXP and announced investigations. The regulator noted that SimpleXP is connected to other cons like EUAktien, EUSchild, WSXP, or KryptoInv. We have analyzed and warned about some scams of this cybercrime network in the past. Our reviews found that some of these scams are facilitated by the illegal payment processor Getgiftcard which processes deposits for the mentioned scams via sofort (by Klarna). We would like to know more.

The German-speaking market has always been very attractive for scam brokers. One of them is WSXP, which exclusively attacks German-speaking consumers. The WSXP white-label scam is an exact clone of other fraudulent trading platforms such as EUAktien, EUSchild, SimpleXP, or KryptoInv. They all operated with the very same set of payment facilitators. It is, therefore, reasonable to conclude that the same cybercrime organization is operating these broker scams. The German BaFin recently launched a probe into SimpleXP.

The content on the website justifies the assumption that SimpleXP is offering unauthorized banking transactions or financial services in Germany. The SimpleXP website is almost identical to the trading platforms under euaktien.de, euschild.de, wsxp.de, and kryptoinv.de, which are also operated without the required permission. It is, therefore, reasonable to conclude that the same cybercrime organization is operating these broke

An address in the German financial center of Frankfurt is given. We found Theegateway and payrexx as payment processors. Moreover, we also found UK Party Events Limited as an illegal payment processor receiving money in the name of EUAktien. The broker scam exclusively attacks German-speaking consumers.

While the latter is already offline and gone, EUSchild is still online. Both scams falsely claimed to be regulated brokers. In our review today, we discovered GatewaysApi cashier. However, none of the offered payment options worked. It seems that EUSchild will be gone soon as well.
