The Italian financial watchdog Consob has ordered the blackout of six illegal financial websites. These are all illegally operating broker scams. The new order brings the total number of websites blacked out since Consob’s authorization came into effect to 989. Unfortunately, other regulators in the EU do not currently have the authority to have websites blacked out. However, this would definitely be worth considering.
Below are the sites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- Bit-matic with website https://bit-matic.com;
- C B Financial Services Limited d/b/a OneFinancialMarket with website www.onefinancialmarket.com;
- Interactive with website https://inter-active.io and https://inter-active.solutions;
- Forexelite Limited and Elite Trading Academy with website https://forexelite.co;
- Degirocfd Group with website https://degirocfd.com;
- Billionaire Trade Limited with website https://billionaire-trade.co.
The number of sites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob was given the power to order the black-out of websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries, has thus risen to 989.
