BrokerZ and Globalix scams – 15 suspects arrested in Albania on German request!

According to Eurojust, law enforcement agents in Albania and Germany have taken down a scam broker network that defrauded victims, including many Germans, of at least several million euros. During an action day, 15 suspects were arrested and eight places were searched in Tirana, Albania. The arrested perpetrators operated boiler rooms in Albania that ran the scam broker brands BrokerZ and Globalix, which lured victims in Germany into investing in non-existent financial products that promised large benefits.

Tradixa broker scam facilitated by Jubiter, Paysend, and PandaTS

A few weeks ago, we warned against the broker scam Tradixa, operating with different domains. Currently, www.tradixa.net is the active domain of the scam allegedly operated by Tradixa Ltd, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and All Media EOOD, Bulgaria. The facilitating payment processors back then have been Praxis Cashier and ePay. While Praxis Cashier evidently terminated Tradixa, we have been able to establish that Estonian-Slovakian Jubiter and Spanish Paysend also facilitated the broker scam.

In the last few weeks, we have intensified our efforts to uncover "old" broker scams like Brokerz. In the process, we discovered that the current version of Brokerz is active as a white-label solution from Israeli PandaTS with the Praxis Cashier. Brokerz is one of literally dozens of scams from the Leverate network and is managed by their boiler rooms in Albania. Some of these illegal boiler rooms use TradingCRM, owned by Ran Strauss, one of the beneficial owners and managers of the Leverate Group. We were also made aware of the report of a former employee on Trustpilot.

Today we have received another email from the broker scam Brokerz which has been active for a very long time. Currently, it runs under the domain www.brokerz.co, until recently it used www.brokerz.com. The first warning against Brokerz, allegedly operated by the Bulgarian All Media EOOD was published by FinTelegram back in January 2019.

The broker scam Tradixa currently operates with the domain www.tradixa.net. The legal entitiwa behind the scam allegedly used to be Tradixa Ltd, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and All Media EOOD, Bulgaria. In December 2020, the Italian Consob ordered the scam's website's blackout; several other European regulators have issued investor warnings. The scam is still active and facilitated by Epay as its payment processor.
