German BaFin investigates Proligon broker scam facilitated by BridgerPay!

German regulator BaFin has announced an investigation into the Proligon broker scam (www.proligon.com) and its operator Building Smart Systems IT SRL, registered in Romania. Our review found that potential victims can lose their money via credit and debit cards. The payment processor is the Israeli-Cypriot BridgerPay active. Just stay far away from this poorly made white label broker scam.

Vantage (previously VantageFX) is an offshore broker of the Vantage Group besides VT Markets and Moneta Markets. Since the beginning of 2022, Vantage uses new domains and logos. Vantage Group operates with regulated entities in the UK and Australia. The offshore activities are operated via Vantage Global Limited, Vanuatu, and Vantage International Group Ltd, Cayman Islands, with whom clients enter into an agreement. These offshore brokers are also active in Europe, soliciting clients and their funds.

Investor warning against Zivyard facilitated by BridgerPay and CoinDeck

TODAY, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a warning against Zivyard (www.zivyard.com) broker. The operator of the scam is allegedly based in the Marshall Islands. Further details about the legal entity or the responsible persons are not given. However, the facilitating payment processors BridgerPay, and the Slovakian Global DLT Exchange d/b/a CoinDeck and Jubiter surely know the scammers. We already know this payment duo from numerous other scams.

Attention! Standpoint Finance still chasing European victims

In early December 2021, we issued a warning against StandPoint Finance broker scam facilitated by VISA partner BridgerPay in its capacity as a payment processor. The Spanish regulator CNMV also issued a warning against this scam. You would think that these warnings would be enough for BridgerPay to terminate the relationship with its scam merchant. Wrong thought. As of Dec 21, 2021, the scam is still online and BridgerPay is still active as a payment processor.

No surprise! GS4Trade broker scam vanished!

The website vanished into the dark of the web along with the victim's money. We have warned against the GS4Trade scam several times. In July 2021, the German BaFin announced that it would investigate the GS4Trade (www.gs4trade.com and www.gs-4trade.com) broker scam. In September 2021, the UK FCA issued an investor warning. GS4trade Invest Limited, registered in the Marshall Islands, allegedly operates the broker, attacking consumers in English and German. As facilitating payment processors, we uncovered BridgerPay, Jubiter, and CoinDeck.

TradeVtech is part of a vast scam network attacking European consumers. Over the last couple of months, FinTelegram has issued several warnings against them. Currently, the scam is operated by Universal Services LLC, registered in St Vincent & The Grenadines. The UK FCA, the Austrian FMA, or the New Zealand FMA issued warnings against TradeVtech. However, the scam is still active, still facilitated by BridgerPay.

We have discovered BridgerPay as a facilitating payment processor at exactly 78 scam brokers in our reviews over the last three years. Thereby, our assessments cover maybe 10% of the existing scams. If at all. In this respect, it is easy to gauge how many of these scam brokers are supported by VISA partner BridgerPay. Today we discovered Ran Cohen's Israeli-Cypriot payment processor at StandPoint Finance (www.standpointfinance.com). The Spanish regulator CNMV issued a warning against this scam.

TradeVtech is an old scam acquaintance. FinTelegram issued an investor warning against the scam in early July 2021. At the time, the scam was operated by UMedia LLC a/k/a UM Media LLC in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; we uncovered BridgerPay as the scam-facilitating payment processer. In July 2021, the UK FCA issued a warning against TradeVtech; the Austrian FMA followed in August as did New Zealand FMA in October.
