In October 2021, the Bamberg Prosecutor's Office coordinated an international Action Day in Ukraine. They dismantled a cybercrime organization that operated the broker scams Nobel Trade a/k/a Nobeltrade and Capital Trade via boiler rooms in Ukraine and defrauded European consumers. The 33-year-old Israeli and suspected principal Snir Moshe Hananya was arrested and his luxury cars seized. German prosecutors have declared war on scammers.
In May 2020, the UK FCA issued an investor warning against the Infinitrade (www.infinitrade.com and www.infinitrade.io) broker scam, operated by offshore entity A&E Products Ltd. The scam has been facilitated by payment processors Phoenix Payments Ltd d/b/a Paytah, and Finligue Grupp OÜ d/b/a Crypto1. The Maltese regulator MFSA has received complaints from victims about Paytah and its scam clients. Despite FCA's warning, PayTah and Crypto1 have continued to support the Infinitrade scam.
Recently, the UK FCA issued an investor warning against the illegally operating CapitalTrade (www.capital-trade.io) broker. No operating entity is provided on the scam's website. The CapitalTrade scam is the successor of other notorious scams such as DigitalCMedia or B Trade that have all been operated on the Sirix platform of Israeli Leverate. The domains www.capital-markets365.com and www.trading-invest-capital.com are also connected with this scam.
