Invest Alert – Triton Capital Markets scam still active with new domain

The Triton Capital Markets a/k/a Triton Markets scam has been active for months with various domains. Karello D Buro LLC allegedly operates it with addresses in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Karelllo D Buro Kft is its paying agent. Regulators have been warning against the scam (see our report here). Currently, the scam operates with the domain www.tcapitalm.com and is promoted by fraud campaigns like Bitcoin Circuit. Evidently, German-speaking investors are the prime target at this time.

Daily Affiliate Warning – Fraudulent BitQT campaign promotes JoyTrust broker scam

Once again, today, we received an email informing us that our income account has been opened. The link then led us (once again) to the fraudulent BitQT campaign on the Amazing Offers website (www.amazing-offers.online/bitqt). Upon registering, we were immediately redirected to the payment page of the broker scam JoyTrust (www.joytrust.net). There we were supposed to deposit via credit card. Please do not fall for these fraudulent marketing campaigns and scams.

Tradixa broker scam facilitated by Jubiter, Paysend, and PandaTS

A few weeks ago, we warned against the broker scam Tradixa, operating with different domains. Currently, www.tradixa.net is the active domain of the scam allegedly operated by Tradixa Ltd, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and All Media EOOD, Bulgaria. The facilitating payment processors back then have been Praxis Cashier and ePay. While Praxis Cashier evidently terminated Tradixa, we have been able to establish that Estonian-Slovakian Jubiter and Spanish Paysend also facilitated the broker scam.

Investor Alert – Investors Center and Trading Academy 360 facilitate broker scams big style

Scams are facilitated by fraudulent marketing campaigns and malicious payment processors. Take the Triton Capital Markets broker, for example. The scam, allegedly operated by Karello D Buro LLC, registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has been warned against by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) on February 18, 2021 (report here). However, it has been facilitated by Investors Center, Trading Academy 360, and Praxis Cashier. Here are a few more details.

Investor Warning – CiscoTrades facilitated by crypto payment processor BitTheBank

The problem with financial market regulators' warnings is that they usually come too late. Usually, their warnings are issued only after many investors have complained. Thus, scammers defraud consumers undisturbed for many months. This is also the case with CiscoTrades (www.ciscotrades.com). The broker scam has been active for several months, and only today the CNMV issued a warning. The scam is apparently already disappearing again. As a payment processor, we have once again discovered the Estonian BitTheBank.

Wanted – The Plutus broker scammers, its perpetrators, and facilitators

Yes, the Plutus broker scam is still active and continues to scam consumers and small investors! And yes, these scammers stole millions! We reported about it a few days ago. Until around May 2020, the scam worked with Praxis Cashier and accepted credit cards and later switched to cryptocurrency payments only. Until recently, the scam operated by ITM Solutions LLC processed payments via BitTheBank and XchangePro of the licensed Estonian crypto payment processors Lipan Services OÜ and BlueData OÜ, respectively. We are trying to track down the operators.

LegacyFX – another CySEC CIF onboarding European clients via Vanuatu mutation

LegacyFX broker operates with two mutations. The "European Mutation" is operated by A.N. Allnews Investments Ltd, an investment firm regulated by CySEC. Then there is the "International Mutation," operated by AN All News Investments Ltd regulated offshore by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC). While not allowed to do so, the "International Mutation" actively addresses European investors and accepts happily accepts them and their money.

Follow the money – Global Markets scam proceeds laundered via GlobalNetInt

We have recently reported on the GlobalMarkets (a/k/a Glob Markets) broker scam, which has been highly active over the last few years but seems to be disappearing. The scam was operated under various domains by Cubic Services Ltd, Seychelles. Numerous regulators have warned against the scam and the operator since 2019. Despite these public warnings, how could the scam still steal customer funds? If you follow the money trail, you again end up with MoneyNetint Group (MNI) and its GlobalNetInt (GNI) in Lithuania.

Investor Alert – Don’t fall for ‘Only Investments’ and ‘Bst Offers’ affiliate schemes

The website Bst Offers (https://bst-offers.com) belongs to a fraudulent affiliate scheme. When registering there you will be routed through different intermediate sites to broker scams like SolidStocks, Triton Capital Markets, or AlgoBlox. These are typical white label broker scams where we discovered the Piastrix, Payotop, and Praxis Cashier as payment facilitators. These affiliate systems are an essential part of scam ecospheres to acquire new victims for the scams. They are scammers themselves.

Investor Warning against Universal Markets broker scam

When analyzing the scams against which the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued an investor warning yesterday, St. Vincent and the Grenadines had a dominant role as the given address of the scam operating entities. This is also the case with Universal Markets (www.umarkets.io, www.umarketspro.com, or www.umarketspro.net). The scam is allegedly operated by Universal Services LLC, register number 193LLC2019, and/or UM Media LLC, register number 240LLC2020. Surprise! Both companies are registered in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Another warning against Max Capital scam FinMax and its mutations

Regulators have warned against the FinMax scams already. In Jan 2019, the German BaFin warned against the mutation FinMaxBO and issued a Cease-and-Desist Order today. In Oc 2020, the Spanish CNMV warned against the mutation FinmaxFX. The scams are operated by Max Capital Limited, Vanuatu, and Gatelinas UAB, Lithuania. Although Max Capital is licensed by the VFSC, it's not authorized to scam anybody. As scam-facilitation payment processors, we have uncovered Webmoney, VLoad, advcash, and Aveia.

Regulator warns against BridgerPay scam client The Forex Premium

Bridger AI Ltd is an unregulated PayTech and, therefore, apparently moves feels free to accept scam merchants without too much concern. Just recently, Cohen hired Nati Harpaz, a big name, as an additional Executive Director. One would expect legitimacy there. However, BridgerPay has come up more frequently as a payment facilitator of scams regulators warn against. So it facilitates The Forex Premium (www.4xpremium.com) operated by Premium Finance Solutions Ltd.
