the Spanish CNMV and other EU regulators issued investor warnings against the unauthorized offshore broker NewFX. Upon our report, NewFX changed its operating entity and domain. Currently, the operator allegedly is New Finance LLC, registered in Delaware; the active domain is www.newfx.us. NewFX is connected to other offshore brokers such as DBFX or OnspotBNK and to the FCA-regulated One Financial Markets. In our new review on 3 May 2022, we found Praxis Cashier as one of the facilitating payment processors.
TradeVtech is part of a vast scam network attacking European consumers. FinTelegram has issued several warnings against them. Currently, the scam is operated by Universal Services LLC and UMedia LLC, registered in St Vincent & The Grenadines. We uncovered BridgerPay as the scam-facilitating payment processer. In July 2021, the UK FCA issued a warning against TradeVtech; the Austrian FMA followed in Aug 2021, as did New Zealand FMA in Oct 2021. As of 21 April 2022, the scam is still active, still facilitated by BridgerPay.
German regulator BaFin today announced an investigation into the Warden VC (www.wardenvc.com) broker scam. The operator is allegedly Mainserver Ltd, registered in the Marshall Islands. The scam has primarily focused on German-speaking consumers. German is the primary language, English is also offered as the secondary language. Deposits to the scam were only possible in our review today with prior contact with a boiler room agent.
In recent months we have warned against many broker scams running on the Israeli AirSoft a/k/a AirSoft Technologies platform (www.airsoftltd.com). We know that AirSoft is a Venture of Interest for German law enforcement agencies and is at the center of respective investigations because of scam-facilitating activities. The venture's website lacks legal entity details. Since 2015, the AirSoft CEO has been the Israeli Shay Benhamou. Allegedly, the Hadjadj family controls the yet unknown legal entities behind the venture.
FinTelegram issued an investor warning against TradeVtech in early July 2021. At the time, the scam was operated by UMedia LLC a/k/a UM Media LLC in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; we uncovered BridgerPay as the scam-facilitating payment processer. Later, the offshore entity Universal Services LLC was stated as the scam operator. BridgerPay does not seem to mind that its scam clients attack and defraud consumers in Europe. In July 2021, the UK FCA issued a warning against TradeVtech; today, the Austrian FMA warned against it.
