On March 28, 2022, Italian regulator Consob announced that it had ordered the blackout of the LionFXM website. The website states AXA Business Solutions Ltd as the operator, supposedly registered in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. However, we did not find the company in the Financial Services Authority (FSA) directory in SVG. The payment processors we found are Bity, CoinDeck, Paypound, Stripe and others. Deposits can be made with creditcards, bank wire, and crypto.

The narrative

The potential victims of LionFXM can lose their money via using credit and debit cards and bank transfers. However, in doing so, they do not pay directly to LionFXM but buy cryptocurrencies with bank transfer from the Swiss-based Bity (www.bity.com) or the licensed Slovakian CoinDeck (www.coindeck.com). The crypto units are then transferred to LionFXM wallets. Additionally, we found Paypound and Stripe integrated for traditional credit and debit card payments.
