The IFXTRADES (www.ifxtrades.com) crypto broker scam is allegedly operated by Phenix tech Ltd, which has also been related to the Markets Cap scam. Would-be victims of IFTXTRADES can buy Bitcoins (BTC) or Tether (USDT) via credit and debit cards which are then deposited into the scam’s wallets. We found SecurePayment3D (www.securepayment3d.com) as the facilitating payment processor. The SecurePayment3D domain is connected to iMarketserviceFX, whose operators are being sued and sought by the U.S. regulator CFTC.
Phenix tech Ltd has allegedly also been the operator of the vanished Markets Cap scam (www.marketscap.com). However, we have not been able to find this legal entity and doubt it exists. The UK IFTXTRADES phone number of the support +442036957531 is identical to that of the Markets Cap scam. Thus, evidently, the same boiler rooms is behind both scams.
According to a whistleblower, these scammers claim to be based in London EC1. The work with the stage names Charlie Taylor, Head of Admin, Benjamin Graham, and Roberto Sole. Allegedly they have been located in Muswell Hill, London.
The SecurePayment3D payment processor is very secretive. Merchants can manage their accounts via https://merchants.securepayment3d.com. According to an analysis by Dutch online investigator Jakal (Twitter: @jakal), SecurePayment3D belongs to the group of many payment processors around Pradexx. See his tweet here.
We would like to know more about the operators behind IFXTRADES and the payment processor SecurePayment3D. If you have any information about them, please share it with us via our whistleblower system Whistle42.
