The Italian financial watchdog Consob has ordered the blackout of five illegal financial websites. These are all illegally operating broker scams. The new order brings the total number of websites blacked out since Consob’s authorization came into effect to 970. Unfortunately, other regulators in the EU do not currently have the authority to have websites blacked out. However, this would definitely be worth considering. Below are the websites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- Bitblanco with website www.bitblanco.com;
- Alphascrypto with website www.alphascrypto.uk;
- Billionaire Trade Ltd with website https://billionaire-trade.com;
- Infinity Invest with website https://infinityinvest.pro;
- CustomhouseCL with website www.customhousecl.com and https://platform.tnxtechno.com.
The number of websites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 970.
