Breaking: U.S. Regulator CFTC Charges Binance For Wilfully Violating Compliance Rules!

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced it had filed a civil enforcement action against Changpeng Zhao and Binance Holdings Limited, Binance Holdings (IE) Limited, and Binance (Services) Holdings Limited (together, Binance) with numerous violations of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) and CFTC regulations. The complaint also charges Samuel Lim, Binance’s former chief compliance officer, with aiding and abetting Binance’s violations.

The Conspiracy Narrative Behind The Global Spreading Of Sudden Death Virus In A Nutshell!

The narrative of the sudden death of U.S. banks Silvergate, Silicon Valley Bank, and most recently Signature Bank sounds like a complicated conspiracy story written by John Grisham, Ken Follet, or John Le Carre. The main character is Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF). He allegedly intentionally triggered the collapse of the Terra-Luna stablecoin scheme in 2022 and, with it, the implosion of the worldwide crypto scene, which finally also swept the banking scene, forcing states and regulators to intervene.

U.S. Regulators Requires To Stop The Minting And Issuance Of Stablecoin BUSD!

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has informed New York-based crypto firm Paxos Trust Co. that it plans to sue the company for violating investor protection laws. The notice alleges that Binance stablecoin BUSD issued by Paxos would be an unregistered security. Paxos should have registered the offering of BUSD under the federal securities laws, the notice said. The New York Department of Financial Services (NY DFS) ordered Paxos to stop minting BUSD.

In December 2019, Binance announced a strategic partnership with FTX, allegedly acquired 20% in FTX, and took a long-term position in the FTX token, FTT. The initial investment allegedly was in the range of "tens of millions" at a valuation of $1.2 billion. In July 2022 Binance exited and received $2.1 billion. A huge profit for Binance. The break was reportedly over regulatory issues. Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) accused Changpeng Zhao (CZ) of causing him problems with regulators.

French Auditor Paused Working For Crypto Clients Due To Public Perception Of POR Reports!

French auditing firm Mazars Group, that did the controversial Proof of Reserve (POR) "audits" of crypto giants Binance and Crypto.com, has paused work for all crypto clients globally. However, the published POR audits have raised more questions than they gave answers to and were met with massive criticism on Twitter. Probably, as a result, Mazars has withdrawn from further crypto engagements. The crypto environment is currently extremely toxic.

For a few days, there has been massive firing on Twitter and in the mainstream media (MSM) against the world's largest crypto exchange Binance. The (rightly) criticized Proof of Reserves makes the public nervous. Especially after the collapse of FTX, whose founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) was recently arrested in the Bahamas. Most recently, Reuters reported that Binance could soon face criminal charges in the U.S. Binance and its founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), are now fighting back to avoid panic and another bank run.

Apparent crypto mogul Sam Bankman-Fried aka SBF and his FTX crypto exchange may not have been as financially strong as always presented themselves. After FTX users complained on Twitter about withdrawal issues, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao aka CZ announced on Twitter that Binance had signed a non-binding LOI to bail out and acquire FTX, which had slipped into a liquidity crisis. SBF's image as a deep-pocket crypto mogul has probably suffered massive damage in the process.
