Despite Celebrity Power: Belgium Regulator Orders Binance To Cease Immediately All Crypto Services

Despite promotional support from soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, Binance faces fierce global headwinds from regulators. On Friday, the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) issued a directive ordering Binance to immediately cease offering or providing crypto services within Belgium. FSMA said Binance currently provides exchange services between cryptocurrencies and FIAT in Belgium and custody wallet services via countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Attention: Belgian Regulator Issues Fraud Warning Against 38 Unauthorized Brokers!

The Belgian regulator Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has identified 38 online trading platforms operating without the necessary licenses in the country. The list includes various forex, CFD, and crypto brokers. The FSMA points out that these unlicensed trading platforms employ deceptive tactics such as scam advertisements on social media. They lure unsuspecting individuals with promises of quick wealth and above-average returns.

Way too late! German BaFin warns against vanished broker scam

In early Jan 2022, the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) issued a warning against the TradingBloom broker scam. The fake company Bloomb Trading Facility B.V. is stated on the website as the operator, acting as a clone of the AFM-licensed Bloomberg Trading Facility B.V. Other regulators such as the Italian Consob or the Belgian FSMA re-published the warning. Recently, the Spanish CNMV has issued a warning. A few hours ago, the German BaFin finally issued a warning. Too late!

The same cybercrime organization operates these and other scams!

FCA follows FinTelegram and warns against FXCT Investments!

We have already issued several warnings against the FXCT Investments broker scam, including a victims report exposing the fraudulent methods of the boiler room agents is explained. As payment processors for FXCT Investments, we have discovered the licensed Slovak Global DLT Exchange d/b/a CoinDeck. The UK regulator followed our assessment and issued a warning against FXCT Investments this morning. Please do not fall for the scam!

Whistleblower Call – Let’s find the people behind vanished scam HybridReserve

The HybridReserve broker scam vanished sometime in 2020. It has defrauded thousands of victims during its active period between 2018 and 2020. Several financial market regulators in Australia and Europe have issued warnings against the scam. The vanished website was owned and operated by the offshore entity SingleBell LTD, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, and the unlicensed Estonian SingleBell OÜ, One of the facilitating payment processors has been the German P2P GmbH, which is investigated by German law enforcement agencies.

UK FCA follows FinTelegram and warns against 365CapitalFX!

In July 2021, FinTelegram issued a warning against Argon Holdings Ltd, which operates the two broker scams 356CapitalMarkets and 365CapitalFX facilitated by PaymentsPro. Argon Holdings has used fraudulent marketing campaigns like Oil Profit to hunt victims for its scams. Back in October 2020, the Belgian regulator FSMA issued a warning against 365CapitalMarkets. Now the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) followed with a warning against 365CapitalFX and its co-operator Sand Ltd. The scam is already about to vanish.

Law Enforcement request for information for HybridReserve broker scam

FinTelegram was asked by an EU law enforcement agency to ask for information about the broker scam HybridReserve. The authorities have received several fraud complaints from retail investors. Already in February 2019 the Belgian regulator Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) and other regulators issued an investor warning against HybridReserve, which is operated by Singlebell Ltd in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Singlebell OÜ from Estonia.
