On March 22, 2024, the Italian financial watchdog Consob ordered the blackout of five illegal online trading platforms. The number of websites blocked by Consob orders reached the round figure of 1,047 since July 2019, when the “Decreto crescita” (“Growth Decree”) gave the Italien regulator the power to order ISPs to inhibit access from Italy to websites through which financial services are offered without proper authorization.
Below are the websites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- Imperialcap24 Limited and Top Markets Ltd with website https://imperialcap24.com;
- AfexEU with website www.afexeultd.com;
- Bitblanco with website www.bitblanco.io;
- INVESTRIUM with website https://investriumltd.com;
- FameFX24 with websites https://famefx24.com, https://crm.investmentcfd.com and https://trading.wrt33.com).
The number of websites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 1047.
