Gilles BianRosa brings a rich background in product development and operational excellence to Kraken. His previous role as CPO at N26, a prominent European neobank, saw him leading the global product strategy and introducing crypto trading in key markets. At Kraken, BianRosa will oversee strategy, global business operations, product, and design, focusing on the next generation of crypto products and services. His appointment is seen as a critical step in Kraken’s mission to make cryptocurrency accessible to its next billion users.
Marcus Hughes, on the other hand, brings a wealth of legal, commercial, and regulatory expertise from both traditional finance and the crypto sector. His experience includes serving as the Managing Director of Coinbase’s European business and General Counsel for its international operations and nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley. At Kraken, Hughes will lead a team of legal and regulatory experts and work closely with government affairs to ensure compliance and advocate for the company’s interests.
