UBS Super-Rich Banker Moves To British Rival Schroders.

Urs Büchi appointed Head Market Wealth Management Germany at Schroders

Schroders has hired the former UBS executive Urs Büchi (LinkedIn) for the German market. He will drive private banking in the neighboring country from Zurich. Urs Büchi has been head of wealth management in Germany for the British asset manager since last August. According to a statement on Tuesday, he focuses on expanding this growth market.

Büchi will work from Zurich and report to Isabelle Blöchlinger-Brechbühl, Head Swiss/German Clients & IAM Team. She said the new Germany head has 25 years of experience at UBS in national and international wealth management. Until his move to Schroders, he was Relationship Manager Wealth Management, responsible for acquiring new clients from the super-rich segment (UHNWI) and developing the German client portfolio.
