NewEra and its payment facilitators
Spread financial intelligence

As part of our analysis of payment facilitators in the high-risk segment of online casinos and gambling providers, we have already reported on the Curacao licensed provider NewEra. Like many other offshore casinos, it also operates via a payment agent in Cyprus. One of the payment facilitators for the NewEra casinos is the FinTech unicorn Revolut, through which players from jurisdictions in which NewEra does not have a license can make deposits.

WLPay and Revolut facilitate offshore casino operated by NewEra350

Although NewEra does not have a license in the EEA states, it was possible in our reviews to register as a resident of various EEA states and make deposits via credit/debit card, bank transfer, e-wallets, or crypto.

We found Revolut to be a payment facilitator at all 12 NewEra Group casinos we reviewed. In our reviews, we have seen that Revolut‘s payments are processed via WLPay (https://wlpay.io). When processing Revolut payments, no information is given about WLPay except that the operator is said to be FCA-regulated. Our research has shown that WLPay belongs to the FCA-regulated Naudapay Limited, an authorized payment institution d/b/a Noda.
